Description
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Farmingdale, New York. This contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations, including invoicing and data entry. Responsibilities:
• Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and review invoices, ensuring timely and correct billing.
• Perform data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date financial records.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in transitioning financial processes to new systems, as needed.
• Maintain organized records of financial documents for auditing and reporting purposes.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors regarding financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial operations.
Requirements
• Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processing..
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with invoice processing and financial documentation.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
