Saint-Gobain Process Technician in FARIBAULT, Minnesota
The primary role of the Process Technician is to safely accomplish all of the production, quality, and cleaning tasks normally associated with the department. In this position, team members must be able to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
Essential Duties:
Handling of glass and willing to run a hoist as needed
Continuous quality checks throughout each process
Working with computer programs and software to run equipment properly
Testing of products at different processes
Maintain a clean work area - 5S
Ability to work effectively as a team and individually
Ability to troubleshoot and respond quickly to minimize downtime
Strong decision-making and good judgment to keep production flowing
Ability to multi-task and get the job completed to standard
Computer experience
Good attendance record
Good safety record
Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures in the English language
Manufacturing experience preferred
Glass handling experience preferred
Advanced computer experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Forklift experience preferred
Ability to lift 35 lbs
Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
Ability to safely handle glass and manufacturing equipment

It tints automatically or on demand to control sunlight, without shades or blinds.
