Description
Otter Tail Corporation (OTC) is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to join our Information Technology team. The Senior Security Engineer leads the design, maintenance and optimization of the enterprise networks while improving the cyber security posture of these environments. Reporting to the Vice President of Information Security and Technology, the Senior Security Engineer plans, coordinates, and leads projects spanning multiple departments and operating companies.
We are seeking a candidate with excellent communication skills and proven ability to build successful relationships. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of systems and networking protocols, modern technology solutions, and security best practices.
Responsibilities:
Executes enterprise cybersecurity engineering activities.
Leads the implementation of security control governance across operating companies.
Conducts ongoing threat and vulnerability analysis.
Leads and implements enterprise-wide cyber security efforts. including enterprise incident response operations.
Administers and enhances security tooling platforms
Develops and maintains cybersecurity policies, processes, and standards.
Carries out network and system engineering tasks to support the local and wide area network systems that support the core business.
Supports strategic planning by evaluating technology options and providing recommendations for projects.
Supports various systems by coordinating or performing updates as necessary and monitoring system performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in network technology roles

The expected base compensation for this role is $97,000-$110,000 annually. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
