Practice Details

Sanford Health is currently seeking a BC/BE Child Abuse Pediatrician to join the region's largest team of board certified, fellowship-trained pediatricians and pediatric specialists. This position is at the Sanford Health Child Abuse Referral and Evaluation Clinic located in Fargo, ND.

Sanford's team:

  • Physician specialty trained in child abuse pediatrics

  • Nurse Practitioners

  • Our team also works with a multidiciplinary team including social workers, peds ortho, trauma team, behavioral health, radiology and primary care providers.

  • In house 24/7 pediatric hospitalist coverage

  • Sanford Medical Center houses a 12 bed PICU, with additional flex beds if needed. Floor shared with 24 bed pediatric unit, and 40-bed Level III NICU with 27 outpatient pediatric medical subspecialty providers covering all specialties

CARE Services:

  • Medical evaluation of children with physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect concerns

  • Forensic medical evaluation for child abuse

  • Evaluations involving child pornography

  • Hospital consultation
