Actalent Civil Inspector in Fargo, North Dakota
Job Title: Quality Assurance InspectorJob Description
We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Inspector with geotechnical engineering experience to oversee a variety of civil engineering projects. These projects include vertical and flatwork concrete, underground utility systems, asphalt and highway construction, earthwork, excavation, pile foundations, and heavy civil works construction. The role is pivotal in ensuring that work is completed in compliance with all contract documentation and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Complete Daily QA Reports in the Resident Management System (RMS) for COR review.
Prepare and submit reporting information using RMS in accordance with Resident Office protocol.
Attend and deliver notes from Pre-Construction Conference, Mutual Understanding Meetings, Weekly Progress Meetings, Monthly Supervisor Safety Meetings, Three-Phase Control Meetings, and other meetings as needed.
Ensure work is accomplished in accordance with all contract documentation.
Participate in and observe QA and Quality Control (QC) Testing and Surveying, Certifications, and Inspections.
Conduct SWPPP Inspections, Vehicle and Equipment Inspections, and verification of materials.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction, with a preference for Geotechnical Engineering.
7+ years of experience in managing and inspecting construction projects.
Required certifications include OSHA 30 and USACE C-QMC.
Work Environment
The position is on-site in Fargo, ND. This is a project-based work environment with a per diem offered. The role involves working closely with various teams to ensure the quality and compliance of construction projects.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $52.00/hr.
