Job Description

Raymarine, a global leader in marine electronics, is looking for a Product Support Specialist to join our UK-based team. This role isn’t just about offering exceptional support - it’s about building relationships, solving complex challenges, and ensuring customers worldwide can rely on our innovative technology. A background or strong interest in sailing or boating is highly desirable, enabling you to better understand our customers and the environments in which our products are used.

As a Product Support Specialist, you’ll be based in our UK office, but travel will be a necessary part of the role. Whether visiting customers, attending industry events, or collaborating with teams across regions, you’ll need both a valid passport and driving license to fulfill the demands of this exciting role.

  • Handle telephone enquiries and provide support for Raymarine/Thermal Maritimeproducts.

  • Manage CustomerRecordManagement (CRM)and email queries,supportteam colleagues, andassistwithreturnsand re-pairsprocesseswhen applicable.

  • Conduct in-field service visits, performfulltechnicaltriage, and escalate issues to theappropriate teams;attend Boat Showsand industry eventswhererequired.

  • Support engineering teams andcontribute toproduct improvement through technicalexpertiseand customer feedback.

  • Act as a technical subject matter expert,providingmentoringto team membersand delivering technical trainingfor customers.

  • Undertake other dutiesasassigned.

To be ready to take on this role we would love if you have

  • Strongly Preferred: Practical sailingor boatingexperience,ideally supported by hands-on marine, vessel, or shipyard work, and experience delivering or supporting technical training.

  • Essential: GoodPC literacyandtelephony skills,includingMicrosoft 365, remote customer supporttools(e.g.AnyDesk), andclear verbaland writtencommunicationinEnglish.

  • Technical Skills: Logical fault-findingability, electrical/electronic repairexperience, and a sound understandingof DC power systems and Ethernet networking.

  • Personal attributes : Self-motivated, team player,adaptable, andwellorganized.

  • Additional r equirements: International travel readiness (Global), manual dexterity, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.Applicants must hold avalidpassport anda fulldrivinglicense.
