Seeking Manual Welder EK is looking for a full-time welder ready to work hard and build their welding experience with our team. We\'re in need of a new welding team member that can weld on a wide variety of metals and alloys, navigate blueprints and directions successfully, and who is ready to take their skills to the next level. Who We Are: EK is an in-demand contract manufacturing company with two major divisions: Our Complete Manufacturing division that crafts complex parts and assemblies through expert fabrication, welding, powder coating, machining, assembly and testing processes in state-of-the-art facilities using cutting-edge equipment. Our Power Products division that designs, develops, produces, and tests unique generator packaging solutions to meet the needs of the most demanding environments and applications. What you\'ll be responsible for: Successfully reading and understanding American and European blueprints, geometrical call outs, and weld symbols to meet or exceed client expectations Using GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW to effectively weld weldments, tanks, and metal parts together per the weld process specification sheet Performing welding on a wide variety of metals and alloys, including carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum Hand layouts of weldments with little to no supervision or assistance Using fixtures, gauges, and jigs to manufacture welded parts to customer specifications Assisting with creating work instructions Completing first piece, in process, and final inspections using calipers, height gauges, protractors, and tape measures Pressure testing fuel tanks and hydro testing glycol tanks Traveling between plants and adapting to the product mix requirements at each facility Analyzing weld processes and recommending process improvements What we expect out of our welding team: Customer Focused Workflow-identifying customer expectations, seeing issues from their point of view, and...
