Job Title: PCB Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced PCB Solder/Assembler to support the assembly and soldering of high-precision electronic components and printed circuit boards. This role involves working on custom, low-volume manufacturing projects related to military and defense programs, requiring strong attention to detail, steady hands, and quality-focused workmanship.
Responsibilities
Perform hand soldering of electronic components onto printed circuit boards.
Assemble PCB components using hand tools and basic assembly equipment.
Read and follow work instructions, diagrams, and basic schematics.
Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy, including microscope inspection when required.
Work with small, detailed components requiring excellent hand-eye coordination.
Maintain a clean, organized, and quality-driven work area.
Meet production and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of experience in PCB soldering/assembly.
Proficiency in soldering.
Knowledge of components such as 3 mole and brass tapping.
Fine pitching knowledge.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in surface mount technology (SMT) and inspecting parts.
Familiarity with SMT machines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with custom or prototype electronic builds.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and documentation.
Proficient in using technology such as Microsoft Office, Excel, and documentation programs.
Familiarity with PADS and ALEGRA software.
Completion of an on-site soldering test.

Work Environment
The work environment is very clean and organized, with individual work cubes provided for assembling parts. Employees can wear comfortable clothing. The standard working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, in Fall River, MA.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fall River, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
