The Role We are looking for a hands-on, self-directed Maintenance Technician to take ownership of maintenance across our Jamestown facility. You will be the primary maintenance resource on site, responsible for keeping a diverse set of equipment and systems running reliably. Key Duties and Responsibilities Equipment Reliability * Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues * Maintain CNC machines, buffing equipment, and finishing systems * Reduce downtime through preventative maintenance and root cause problem solvingFacility Systems * Support compressors, pumps, ventilation, and building systems * Maintain and troubleshoot reverse osmosis water systemsChemical Process Support * Perform chemical testing and titrations * Maintain proper solution balances in finishing operations * Ensure safe handling and complianceContinuous Improvement * Identify and implement improvements to equipment reliability and workflow * Build and improve preventative maintenance systems * Partner with production to solve recurring issuesOwnership * Manage spare parts and maintenance records * Coordinate outside vendors when needed * Play an active role in plant safety initiatives Required knowledge and Skills Required * 3+ years of hands-on industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience * Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability * Working knowledge of electrical systems and controls * Ability to work independently and prioritize work without constant directionPreferred * CNC maintenance experience (mills and lathes) * Experience in metal finishing or chemical processing environments * Familiarity with water treatment or reverse osmosis systems * Electrical or PLC troubleshooting capability Physical Requirements * Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. * Ability to frequently move about inside the plant. * Ability to accurately communicate/ exchange information with teammates and management.
