Sevita Day Program Assistant in Fairview, Pennsylvania
NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.
Day Program Assistant – Join Our Caring Team!
- Monday – Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Starting Pay: $16/hour
Preliminary Requirements:
Proof of valid driver’s license held for at least one year with good driving record
Ability to attend orientation and training

Are you compassionate, patient, and ready to make a meaningful impact in someone’s life? As a Day Program Assistant, you will support to our clients, providing a safe environment to learn and grow in. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to follow instructions, and a genuine heart for caring.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with personal hygiene and care
Help transport clients to appointments utilizing company vehicles as needed
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
Support wheelchair assistance and safe transportation
Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
Ensure overall safety and well-being of clients
Use proper lifting and bending techniques to physically support clients
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
6 months to 1 year of experience in human services or caregiving preferred
Valid, non-probationary driver’s license with no restrictions or provisions
Successful background check clearance
Caring attitude and dedication to supporting others
Ability and willingness to safely bend and lift to assist clients
