This is for an Extended School Year (ESY) program and is considered a BOCES ESY position.

LOCATION OF POSITION: Fairport NY 14450;Location TBD
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: July 9, 2026 - August 19, 2026. Full Time. Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM, depending on location. For all BOCES Programs Pre and Post summer trainings and set-up as directed.
Mandatory Summer Set-Up Meetings:
June 2nd= Transition/Employment
June 3rd = O'Connor Academy, eStart, Creekside (BPA Unit + TES Staff)
June 10th = Creekside (BUP Unit), Bird/Morgan
SALARY RANGE: $21.73 - $34.01 per hour (or higher pending contract negotiations) or your 2026-27 rate in this title for current Monroe One Boces staff
*Actual Salary Is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract.
DUTIES:
Support teacher with the implementation of Individualized Education Plans.
Provide 1:1 instruction in a consistent, supportive environment in a cooperative effort with the classroom.
Work cooperatively with staff, administration and consultants to implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans.
Responsible for instruction of student consistent with IEP.
Plan and implement daily activities.
Assist with maintaining record keeping.
Attend staffings, meetings and training before and after school.
Communicate effectively with the team including classroom teachers, other professional staff and parents.
Training in instructional strategies for students with autism.
Other duties as determined by the classroom team, administration and behavioral consultant.
Responsible to take care of students' daily needs, and support school wide activities (i.e. swimming, and riding school buses).
Support students in work.
Willingness to attend training specific to student.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must commit to working the full 30-day summer program.
Experience working with students with autism and multiple disabilities.
College level work in education and an Associate Teacher Certificate.
Training in individual and classroom management systems.
Training in Life Space Interventions/SCIP-R/TCI/CPI or similar systems.
Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
