LOCATION OF POSITION:Fairport NY 14450; Various Locations
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:June 17, 2026 - August 30, 2026; Hourly. Schedule dependent on referrals to Monroe One BOCES Special Education Programs.
Mandatory Summer Set-Up Meetings:
June 2nd= Transition/Employment
June 3rd = O'Connor Academy, eStart, Creekside (BPA Unit + TES Staff)
June 10th = Creekside (BUP Unit), Bird/Morgan
SALARY RANGE: $32.33 - $52.43 per hour (or higher pending contract negotiations) or your 2026-27 rate in this title for current Monroe One Boces staff
*Actual Salary Is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract.
DUTIES:
Meet with students, families, other indicated participants attending Intake appointments for students referred to Monroe One BOCES Regular School Year and/or Extended School Year Special Education programs.
Review referral information educational, psychosocial, medical, emotional/behavioral - provided on each referred student.
Conduct Intake interviews with students, families, other indicated participants, attending Intake appointments.
Assist families in the completion of indicated Monroe One BOCES forms.
Complete required documentation, including Intake Reports,
Collaborate with program and department personnel, as needed.
Assist educational teams in making recommendations to Individual Education Programs for students entering a Monroe One BOCES program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master of School Social Work.
NYS Provisional or Permanent Certification as a School Social Worker.
Experience working in specialized educational programs and delivering supportive services to students with disabilities.
Understanding of NYS Special Education laws, regulations and processes.
Knowledge of Monroe #1 BOCES Special Education programs.
Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
