This is for an Extended School Year (ESY) program and is considered a BOCES ESY position.

LOCATION OF POSITION: Fairport NY 14450; Transportation Department
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT : July 9, 2026 - August 19, 2026. Some positions start July 8. For all BOCES Programs Pre and Post summer trainings and set-up as directed.
SALARY RANGE:$16.00 per hour ( or higher pending contract negotiations) or your 2026-27 rate in this title for current Monroe One Boces staff
Non-District Attendants, there is a Mandatory orientation/training
DUTIES:
Assist with loading and unloading of students.
Supervising the conduct of students.
Attend to special needs of students.
Knowledge of emergency procedures and evacuation plans.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must meet all Civil Service requirements for aSchool Bus Attendant: There are no minimum education or experience requirements
Completion of the BOCES bus attendant training program (SED), copies to be submitted.
Applicants must commit to the full 30-day Summer School Program.
Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
