Apprentice Skilled Construction Craft Laborer

The Apprenticeship program consists of on-the-job training as well as required classroom training. Classroom training is attended outside of work hours for a minimum of 300 hours during the 24-month apprenticeship. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Age: 18 Minimum Education: 10th Grade Experience: Experience is not required; however, previous construction experience is a plus.
PHYSICAL CONDITION: The Apprentice must be physically able to perform the work required, including working from ladders and scaffolds, and in confined spaces. Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. The apprentice must sign an affidavit stating he/she is physically capable of performing the work required. (NOTE: costs for medical examinations, if required, are at the expense of the sponsor.)
OTHER: Apprentices must provide their own reliable transportation to and from jobsites and to and from all classroom instruction programs. Must have a valid NYS Drivers License (Class D). Apprentices may be required to operate Company vehicles
