Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Entry Level Business Data Analyst to join the Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, has a passion for numbers, a curious mindset, and foundational skills in data accuracy, logical thought processes, and alternative problem solving. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to learn the business and grow in the field of business data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather data from various sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets, ERP, EDP) and clean it to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability for analysis.
Report Generation & Visualization: Create and maintain interactive publishing tools and reports using tools such as Power BI, or Excel to communicate insights to business Managers and downstream users.
ERP – EDP Support: Provide support to end users and management within Epicor/M3 applications as well as BI reporting using Power BI layered over the Enterprise Data Platform, including data queries.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, EDI) to understand the business data needs and deliver alternative insights in addition to meeting the current needs of the business.
Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data definitions, metric formulas, and analytical processes.
