Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Fairhaven, MA who is currently seeking Summer School Paraprofessionals to work with students on a contractual basis.
Details of the Position Include:
Start Date: 7/7/2026
Duration: 4 weeks
Schedule: Monday- Thursday 8am-12pm
Requirements:
· Must have experience working with special education student K-12
· 1+ years of school-based experience
· Safey- Care or CPI training preferred but not required
Description: Seeking experienced Paraprofessionals supporting the elementary ASD Programs. Experience working with challenging behaviors and working with elementary aged students.
Pay: $24/hour

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
