Insight Global Office Manager in Fairborn, Ohio
Job Description
Insight Global is hiring an Office Manager for one of our automotive industry clients. This individual will serve as the backbone of the dealership’s business office, ensuring financial accuracy, clean schedules, and timely reporting in a fast-paced, growing environment.
This role supports a midsize dealership selling approximately 150–200 new and used vehicles per month. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable handling a high volume of daily transactions while maintaining audit-ready books. You will partner closely with dealership leadership to deliver accurate financial insights that support informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Post retail and wholesale deals; maintain accounting schedules, clear aged items, and keep books audit-ready
Manage AP/AR and cash controls, including vendor payables, receivables, daily deposits, and bank reconciliations
Handle floor plan accounting, including curtailments, payoffs, interest, incentives, and monthly reconciliations
Perform fixed ops accounting for parts, service, warranty, sublet, and internal repair orders; verify cost of sales and close RO batches
Support the month-end close by preparing journal entries, balancing schedules, rolling the GL, and delivering management reports with variance explanations
Coordinate title/DMV and F&I documentation to ensure accurate funding and compliance
Improve and standardize accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and support cross-functional training

Skills and Requirements
Prior automotive accounting experience within a dealership business office
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience)
Experience using a Dealer Management System (DMS)
Strong Excel proficiency with advanced reconciliation skills
High attention to detail, discretion, urgency, and accuracy
Proven experience with journal entries, balance sheet schedules, and month-end close processes - Experience with CDK Drive is preferred
Experience working in a high-volume dealership environment (150–200 units per month)
