Overview of Position:
To assist program staff and cooperate in a supportive role carrying out developmentally appropriate activities. To promote the health, nutrition, education and transportation needs of the children and to attend to their safety and welfare.
Skills and Education Required:
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- A high school diploma or GED
- Experience recruiting and working with low-income, culturally and linguistically diverse families.
- Knowledge and experience in data collection and information processes and systems.
SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
- Possess the following abilities - adaptability, sound judgment, initiative, leadership, teamwork, follow up
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as team member with staff and parents
- Minimum 1 year experience working with children.
