Regulatory Specialist – Contract-to-Hire
Malvern, PA
Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking an experienced Regulatory Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a growing, highly regulated manufacturer in the Malvern, PA area.
Compensation: $89,000–$99,000 base (conversion salary range)
Travel: Up to 5% (primarily domestic; occasional international)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Specialist to oversee product-related regulatory compliance activities for a global portfolio of chemical, disinfectant, and antimicrobial products.
This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with domestic and international regulations while providing strategic regulatory leadership to support commercialization, lifecycle management, and global market expansion.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering long-term growth potential within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as subject matter expert for chemical, disinfectant, and antimicrobial products
Develop and implement global regulatory strategies for product commercialization and lifecycle management
Monitor and interpret domestic and international regulatory requirements
Prepare summaries of new or changing regulations and communicate impact to senior leadership
Provide regulatory input during product development, formulation updates, and manufacturing changes
Coordinate domestic and international product registrations
Prepare and submit regulatory filings prior to agency submission
Manage U.S. regulatory requirements, including:
EPA reporting and renewals
FDA annual volume reporting
State registrations and renewals
Respond to regulatory agency inquiries and support inspections/audits
Maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
Review and ensure compliance of product labels and labeling
Provide regulatory training and guidance to internal stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Physics, Quality, or related scientific discipline
Experience
5–8 years of regulatory, compliance, quality, or SOP experience in:
Pharmaceutical
Biotechnology
Medical device
Regulated chemical manufacturing
Cleanroom or hygiene products
Experience with disinfectants, antimicrobials, or biocidal products preferred
Knowledge & Skills
Strong knowledge of domestic and international chemical regulations
Experience with EPA and FDA regulatory processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Primarily office-based role
Minimal lifting (up to 25 lbs occasionally)
Regular sitting, computer use, and document review
Compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations required
