Big Valley Ford-Chrysler Auto Service Technician in Ewen, Michigan
Big Valley Ford-Chrysler is seeking a qualified Auto Service Technician.
The ideal applicant will have prior experience.

Job responsibilities:
Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc., to specifications.
Provide estimates for additional automotive repairs.
Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repair in a non-technical manner to service advisers and customers.
Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with changing technology.
Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so necessary repairs can be made.
Provide and maintain a basic inventory of required hand tools.
Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for service repairs.
Other requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
Hold a valid driver's license.
Team-oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, A/C equipment, etc.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
