Title- Supply Base Management Spec 5 Location- Everett, WA Duration-12 Months Job description Manages supplier/subcontractor performance and relationships. Provides business and strategic guidance for critical suppliers, commodities and programs. Leads the resolution of complex or strategic supply chain issues. Consults with management and customers to lead the development of future supply base requirements. Integrates supplier strategies with program needs and supply base capabilities. Initiate supplier improvement activities, while integrating and aligning with business unit goals and strategies. Drives the company''s cross-functional supply base strategy process. Evaluates potential proposals and coordinates sourcing proposals. Ensures external partners are meeting business expectations. Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs. Lead cross functional projects across multiple sites for newly purchased entity. Identify initiatives and data requirements, receive and validate data, conduct analysis, seek approval for implementing the project. Develops and uses collaborative relationships within and outside the organization to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals. Builds rapport and trust among stakeholders and leverages the organization's dynamics to promote program goals by focusing on a shared vision. Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management. Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
