Job Description
Responsibilities
The Quality Inspector will assure compliance to a variety of dimensional and specification requirements. This includes receiving inspection, in-process inspection, first article inspections, final inspection and customer presentation. The Quality Inspector will validate the physical characteristics as well as the processing requirements and the data certifications of parts with complex geometry and configurations. This position is responsible for insuring component manufacturing documentation is complete, accurate, and in conformance to the various drawings, documents, and company procedures. The Quality Inspector works directly with Manufacturing, Engineering, and the Purchasing departments. Additional responsibilities would also include any other duty assigned by the Quality department management.
• Inspect manufactured and received parts using precision measuring tools including gauges, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, scales, and other hand tools
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
• Perform and document First Article Inspections (FAIs)
• Complete shipping and receiving inspections for OEM and MRO hardware
• Write non-conformance tags and document discrepancies for non-conforming parts
• Follow inspection checklists and written quality procedures to ensure compliance with quality requirements
• Accurately document inspection results within ERP, MRP, and PLM systems
• Support delivery and production schedules while maintaining high quality standards
• Work independently with minimal supervision and exercise ethical judgment in all inspection decisions
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Quality Supervisor or Manager

Skills and Requirements
• 1–3 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T
• Experience completing FAIs
• Experience performing OEM shipping and receiving inspections
• Proficiency with ERP systems and working knowledge of PLM systems • Aerospace inspection experience
• Experience supporting both OEM and MRO inspection environments
• Additional exposure to production quality or manufacturing inspection workflows
• Experience working to inspection checklists and documented procedures
