Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer who will provide electrical and controls engineering expertise to support new equipment and system introductions. This role requires an internal subject matter expert in control systems, system integration, sensors, and electromechanical devices.
Responsibilities
Provide electrical and controls engineering expertise in support of new equipment and system introductions.
Act as the internal subject matter expert in control systems, including Siemens PLC, HMI, Motion Control Systems, system integration, sensors, and electromechanical devices.
Apply knowledge in electronics, electrical circuits, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and programming.
Travel to customer sites for machine commissioning and troubleshooting support.
Maintain logs and written records of duties performed.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in troubleshooting, electrical work, field service, PLC programming, CNC equipment, Siemens PLC, mechanical repair, pneumatics, installation, hydraulics, and assembly.
Strong fundamental understanding of electrical design practices, machine/motion control systems, electro-mechanical systems, robotics, programming, and system integration.
Understanding of PLC programming languages and experience in troubleshooting electrical control panels.
CNC troubleshooting experience and knowledge of NC Controllers such as Siemens 840D or WINCC.
Experience using precision measurement equipment like dial indicators and calipers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $43.00/hr.
