Job Title: Engineering Technician Job Description
As an Engineering Technician, you will evaluate and troubleshoot circuit, system, and product performance, deriving solutions to basic performance deficiencies. You will often work closely with an Engineer on projects and operate with minimum supervision, relying on established procedures. You will encounter new and varied work situations of moderate complexity, requiring initiative to act without specific instructions. Your work is typically released following personal review, and you will interact with your immediate supervisor, Engineering, Test, and other departments as needed.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and troubleshoot circuit, system, and product performance.
Derive solutions to basic circuit and product performance deficiencies.
Collaborate closely with Engineers on projects.
Operate with minimal supervision using established procedures.
Review and release work after personal evaluation.
Communicate with immediate supervisor, Engineering, Test, and other departments.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in electronics.
Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and repair.
Knowledge of test equipment and wiring.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience with complex electronic test equipment in a troubleshooting and repair environment.
Capability to troubleshoot down to board level.
Ability to understand wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, engineering change orders, and customer service repair instructions.

Work Environment
This position is based in an FAA Repair station area within a manufacturing facility. The work schedule is a day shift from Monday to Thursday, 6am - 3:30pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
