Our Everett, WA international client has an onsite direct salaried EH&S Manager position open. The salary range is from $105K-$120k. This position reports to the president of this The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's EH&S programs and policies. This position ensures compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including those from the Department of Energy (DOE), Puget Sound Clean Air Agency (PSCA), Labor & Industries (L&I)/OSHA, and others. The EH&S Manager plays a key role in fostering a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EH&S policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Ensure the accuracy and relevance of current work instructions. Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify safety and environmental hazards. Document findings and corrective actions in RAILS. Perform Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and ensure that employees are trained on and consistently use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection as required. Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis techniques. Document findings in the incident log and present them during safety committee meetings. Implement corrective and preventive actions. Deliver EH&S training programs to employees, supervisors, and contractors. Develop orientation materials for new hires and partner with Human Resources to maintain an EH&S training matrix (e.g., CPR/First Aid certifications). Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies. Manage compliance documentation, coordinate inspections, and ensure timely submission of all required reports. Analyze EH&S data and key performance indicators to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee the safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials. Ensure compliance with air and water quality standards and manage sustainability and environmental initiatives. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Operations, HR, Maintenance) to integrate EH&S principles into day-to-day activities. Lead emergency preparedness and response efforts, including planning, training, and conducting evacuation drills. Stay informed on current and emerging EH&S regulations, industry trends, and best practices to ensure proactive risk management and compliance. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Associate's or Tech degree (Bachelor's degree preferred) Min 5 years of EH&S experience within a manufacturing environment that includes conducting audits and employee training. Min 3 years of MS Office and related computer systems experience Preferred Skills / Qualifications: ISO 9001 Background check and drug screen required. Cert/Training: First Aid Certification and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) required. Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM) preferred.
