Travel RN Case Manager

Up to $2,400/week
We are seeking an experienced Travel RN Case Manager to support a 571-bed Level II Trauma Center in Everett, Washington. This role supports the Case Management department, providing care coordination and discharge planning to the next level of care within an acute care environment.
The RN Case Manager will collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, social work, and interdisciplinary teams across high-acuity service lines, including ICU, PCU, Emergency Department, Family Birth, and Adult Medical units, to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant transitions of care.

Facility: 571-bed Level II Trauma Center
Weekly Pay: Up to $2,400/week
Setting: Acute Care Case Management
Units Supported: ICU, PCU, ED, Family Birth, Adult Medical
Shift Options
5x8-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts (schedule approved by unit manager)
Flexible start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM for 8-hour shifts
Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
Apply and evaluate admission criteria and medical necessity guidelines
Perform utilization review and audits
Provide comprehensive care coordination across multidisciplinary teams
Lead discharge planning to the appropriate next level of care
Conduct thorough patient and family needs assessments
Coordinate and order durable medical equipment (DME)
Develop, implement, and revise plans of care
Communicate effectively with providers, patients, families, and post-acute partners
Ensure accurate documentation aligned with payer, regulatory, and hospital standards
Top Skills Required
1+ year of discharge planning and care coordination experience
1+ year of inpatient acute care case management experience
Active Washington RN license or Compact RN license (required)
BLS certification (required)
Proficient with EPIC EMR
Preferred Regulatory Knowledge & Experience
Working knowledge of CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) requirements
Experience with Diagnosis‑Related Groups (DRGs)
Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance
Familiarity with The Joint Commission standards, Core Measures, and National Patient Safety Goals
Diverse case management experience across MS, PCU, ICU, LLOS, and ED
Experience using Milliman Guidelines and/or InterQual criteria
CCM (Certified Case Manager) or ACM (Accredited Case Manager) preferred

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $60.00/hr.
