Zap Energy Arc Systems Engineering Manager in Everett, Washington
Job Description: Lead the engineering design, modeling, analysis, construction, and operation of repetitive plasma fusion arc devices including mechanical structures, electrodes, vacuum vessels, and associated hardware. Manage a substantial engineering program with associated budget on the scale of millions of dollars over multi-year timelines. Work with research scientists and engineers across the organization to develop design requirements. Work with procurement to source raw materials and finished parts, conceptualizing the full systems engineering V-model (e.g., requirements, architecture, design, test, operations, etc.). Embrace fast iteration of design based on new information generated by plasma R&D and system development programs. Document plans, designs, and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Master's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Applied Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
Experience: Ten (10) years of experience in job offered, or R&D Engineer, Process Development Engineer, Chemical Engineer, or in a related occupation.
Annual Salary: $233,400 - $250,000/Yr
