Lampire Biological Laboratories, Inc. Crop Assistant in Everett, Pennsylvania
Job Description:
The person will primarily be responsible for producing crops for the Everett and Ottsville farms, shopping for best price on seeds and fertilizers, maintaining tractors and other farm equipment, and maintaining crop fields in good standing.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervision and scheduling of other farm employees to assist in the crop production.
Responsibilities:
Providing 1,800 round bales of hay per year. Meet with employees regarding HR issues.
Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
Extremes of temperature, including heat in summer months and cold in winter months.
Noise can be extreme if working in or on farm equipment, hearing protection may be required.
Excessive walking may be required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently standing, walking, and sitting.
