Administrative Assistant

The church administrative assistant is a part time, 20 hour per week position. This position reports directly to the minister for daily and administrative duties with oversight and compensation to be administered by the PPR Committee.

Skills Needed:

Microsoft Office including Publisher, Excel, Word, and Outlook

Proficient typing skills

Organizational skills

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

Maintain, schedule and coordinate the church calendar as well as mass messaging to church members

Prepare and publish the weekly bulletin in both paper and electronic formats

Maintain the church member physical mailing addresses, email addresses, and phone directory

Maintain list of church committee members and send electronic reminders to all committee members for meetings/events

Maintain church archive records

Be available to assist in committee activities as needed

Answer phone and direct messages

Prepare annual church directory

Primary scheduler for church events and FLC activities

Manage FLC rental agreements

Maintain church website

Maintain church electronic messaging sign

Order office supplies, altar flowers, and study materials as directed
