Now Hiring! School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
9-Month Contract • 40 hrs/week • Start Date: August 24, 2026

We’re hiring FOUR SLPs to support a variety of programs across Lane County — from rural districts to Life Skills classrooms in the Eugene/Springfield area. If you’re passionate about helping students grow academically, socially, and communicatively, we want you on our team!
What You’ll Do
As a School-Based SLP, you’ll play a key role in supporting student success by:
Completing speech-language evaluations and screenings
Providing direct therapy aligned with each student’s individualized plan of care
Documenting services and progress accurately
Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
Serving as a communication champion for students of all abilities
You won’t be expected to provide behavioral instruction — but comfort working alongside Life Skills teams and diverse behavioral profiles is important.

Placement Options
We want your ideal fit! Openings include:
Life Skills Programs — Eugene / Springfield
Higher-behavior classrooms
Students receive a range of communication services
Great for SLPs passionate about functional communication
Rural District Assignments — Lane County
Areas such as Marcola, Pleasant Hill, Blachly, and more
Small caseloads across 2–3 districts
FTE may be combined to create a full 1.0 schedule
Let us know your preference: Life Skills, rural, 1.0 FTE, or 0.5 FTE.
? Requirements
Active Oregon SLP License (or ability to obtain)
CCC-SLP preferred (may be required depending on assignment)
Current CPR (if applicable)
TB screening (if applicable)
Must meet all federal, state, and district requirements
Must be 18+

Virtual or in-person interviews available
Candidates must review the district’s Equity Lens document prior to interview (we'll provide it!)
District is interviewing now for next school year; final caseloads and school placements will be clarified closer to start date
