Amergis Behavior Technician in Eugene, Oregon
Behavior Technician Wanted!
Join the team at Harrison Elementary and make a real impact supporting students with high behavioral needs in a specialized ISP classroom. You’ll work 1:1 with a student, collaborate with a strong SPED team, and help create a safe, structured learning environment.
What You’ll Do
Support elementary students with significant behavioral needs
Work in a classroom with a 1:1 adult-to-student ratio
Manage behaviors including hitting, kicking, biting, elopement, and task refusal
Provide consistent, reliable support Monday–Thursday (Fridays off!)
Job Details
Modality: School-based Behavior Tech
Hours: 25/week (5 per day)
Schedule: Mon–Thurs
Contract: 4 months
Start: 02/23/2026
Location: Harrison Elementary (Cottage Grove, OR)
Note: Student may transfer to Eugene — reliable transportation to both locations is required.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years pediatric experience preferred
CPR + TB screening if applicable
Must meet all federal/state/local requirements
Must be 18
