Actalent Cnc Programmer in Euclid, Ohio

Job Description

  • Program Mazak vertical mills using Mastercam based on 3D models

  • Create or update manufacturing drawings using 2D and 3D CAD tools

  • Convert legacy Mastercam programs into modern, clean, editable versions

  • Prepare programs ahead of machine installation so production can begin immediately when new Mazaks arrive

  • Work closely with machinists and engineers to ensure programs and drawings match real‑world machining needs

  • Support two machining areas: aluminum housings and steel shafts

  • Generate 2D drawings from 3D models and maintain documentation for future revisions

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years CNC programming experience required

  • Mastercam expertise is a must

  • Ability to be a hybrid programmer

  • Strong 3D CAD skills - (CATIA preferred, but will consider SolidWorks, Creo, and other CAD tools)

  • Must be comfortable creating programs from scratch

Work Environment

  • This role involves predominantly offline programming at a computer in preparation for new CNC equipment. Once programming is complete, the position will transition to overseeing machining processes on the manufacturing floor. The environment requires collaboration and attention to detail to ensure the success of the machining operations

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Euclid, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
