Role Summary:
In this role, you will lead the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of our environmental, health, and safety processes. You’ll partner closely with site leadership and employees, provide expert guidance, and ensure compliance with legal and corporate standards. Your work will include conducting risk assessments, investigating incidents, managing audits, and shaping a site‑specific SHEA strategy.
Your Tasks:
Planning, implementation, monitoring, and optimization of operational HSE processes
Consulting, support, and coaching of site management, executives, and employees in the areas of environmental, health, and safety
Analysis of workplace accidents, assessment of risk potentials, and development of concepts/preventive measures to avoid future accidents
Implementation and execution of company-internal guidelines (e.g., reporting, documentation, KPIs) and, based on this, development of a site-specific SHEA strategy
Creation, updating, review, and further development of workplace and hazard assessments
Planning, execution, and evaluation of internal and external audits
Performance of general tasks of the occupational safety specialist according to Section 6 of the German Occupational Safety and Health Act (ASiG)
Coordination and collaboration with external companies and authorities
Your Profile:
Completed technical training and subsequent specialist training/further education
At least 2-3 years of professional experience as an occupational safety specialist, ideally in a large corporation
Knowledge of legal requirements in the areas of occupational safety and environmental protection
Additional qualifications related to occupational safety, environmental protection, and health
Fluent in written and spoken German and English
Good comprehension and reporting skills
Organizational talent and the ability to prioritize
