A reputable field services/utilities provider in Escondido is adding a detail‑accurate Dispatcher to coordinate technician schedules, manage urgent work orders, and ensure SLA compliance. Ideal for someone who enjoys puzzle‑solving: right tech, right part, right time.
What You’ll Do
Schedule and dispatch technicians based on skillset, certifications, inventory, and territory.
Prioritize emergency orders, safety calls, and warranty work while protecting SLAs.
Confirm parts availability, coordinate pickups, and minimize windshield time.
Communicate ETAs and scope with customers; capture accurate notes and outcomes.
Update work orders, closeouts, and billing flags in the system; ensure signatures/PODs.
Partner with Operations and Inventory on returns, re‑visits, and quality checks.
Track technician productivity and escalate recurring issues with recommendations.
Requirements
2+ years dispatch/scheduling in field services, HVAC, utilities, or telecom.
Confident phone presence; empathetic, clear, and concise.
Organized multi‑tasker; strong follow‑through and documentation habits.
Tools & Systems
FSM/Dispatch: ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, Salesforce Field Service (or similar)
GPS/Telematics for technician tracking; Excel/Sheets for quick scheduling grids
