Public Health Delta & Menominee Counties Licensed Practical Nurse in Escanaba, Michigan
Public Health Delta & Menominee Counties is looking for an organized, detail-oriented individual to fill a full-time position. The employee will be regularly scheduled to work from the Escanaba office but will be required to travel within Delta & Menominee Counties. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a health care setting, typing, filing, data entry, word processing, and customer service/communication skills.
This position will work in the Immunization, Hearing and Vision, and WIC programs. Duties include using the Michigan Care Improvement Registry (MCIR), tracking vaccine inventory, provider compliance, running reports, hearing and vision screening in local schools, recording information/history in the WIC system, as well as performing blood capillary testing for both lead and hemoglobin.
