Cartamundi Supervisor Maintenance in Erlanger, Kentucky

Salary Range: $84,000.00 To $88,000.00 Annually

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of all maintenance personnel assigned to them across all three shifts, including safety, quality, efficiency, training and administration of policies associated with those personnel.
What you’ll do as a Maintenance Supervisor:
Ensure full adherence to all maintenance safety procedures by maintaining comprehensive knowledge of safety standards, providing proper personnel training, and enforcing approved safety practices.
Communicate regularly with Operations and Engineering teams to provide updates on job status, anticipated completion timelines, and actual completion of work.
Apply a thorough understanding of company policies and rules to address and resolve issues promptly, consistently, and fairly.
Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately, thoroughly, and on time by the workforce.
Utilize and maintain proficiency with CMMS and procurement systems.
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence.
Provide training across all levels of the organization on improvement methodologies, processes, procedures, and tools.
Drive business performance by eliminating waste and leveraging industry best practices.
Assist in maintaining accurate storeroom inventory and bin levels, ensuring all processes are properly followed.
Maintain a safe work environment by posing no direct threat to the health or safety of oneself, others, or property, consistent with defined safety expectations and reasonable accommodation standards.
Maintain regular attendance to perform all essential job functions within assigned work hours.
Complete individual assignments as directed by management.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, across the organization, and with external stakeholders; uphold professional competence, knowledge, and skills necessary for effective performance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
We’re looking for a Maintenance Supervisor with:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments, associates, and external suppliers.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including clear presentations, effective facilitation, and the capacity to convey difficult messages professionally.
Strong leadership skills with proven experience coaching others, delivering training, and facilitating cross‑functional teams.
Self-directed team player with 3+ years of experience in a continuous‑improvement, driven environment.
Demonstrates solid project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and apply key project management principles, practices, and tools.
Strong analytical and decision‑making capability, able to identify root causes, use logic to solve complex problems, and make timely decisions under pressure.
Highly action-and results oriented; drives performance, takes ownership, acts with urgency, and seizes opportunities even with incomplete information.
Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals, teams, and organizations with varying issues, priorities, and agendas.
Visionary thinker able to maintain a longer‑term focus and clearly anticipate end results.
Exemplary standards of integrity, professionalism, and personal work ethic.
Possesses the experience, education, or training necessary to lead and direct a maintenance staff.
Working knowledge of typical business software, including Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Experience with CMMS systems.
Willing and able to work weekends as needed.

Physical requirements and working conditions:
Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:
Spends approximately 50% of work time sitting at a workstation and 50% standing or walking.
Required to work two weeks per year on 2nd shift and two weeks per year on 3rd shift to assess and identify areas for improvement.
Able to work alongside Maintenance Technicians to assist in troubleshooting and repairing machinery as needed to support company goals.
Must be able to work overtime or occasional weekend shifts on short notice.
