Job Description
Job Description: The Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure within the operational technology environment. This includes verifying firewall configurations, conducting site discovery, creating the low level site wide network diagrams, and creating firewall ACL lists. The Network Engineer will also be responsible for evaluating network equipment and ensuring proper monitoring and logging.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify Firewalls are configured in accordance with ADM standards.
Conduct site discovery using Lansweeper and switch commands.
Create firewall ACL lists and host design review sessions to request approval.
Evaluate network equipment for port capacity, speed, and warranty status.
Configure and troubleshoot approved ACLs in Cisco firewalls.
Request quotes for equipment replacement if needed.
Add network devices to a network monitoring application.
Coordinate network-related tasks with other team members.
Firepower, ASA, CNA, CNP.

Skills and Requirements
3+ years of Network design and implementation
2+ years working in an OT (industrial) environment
5+ years of overall IT background
Cybersecurity knowledge
Communication and coordination skillset
Must be able to travel at least 70% of the time
