Counseling and Assessment Services, LLC Licensed Professional Counselor in Erie, Pennsylvania

Administer and score a variety of psychological tests for children, adolescents, and adults to determine cognitive, adaptive, emotional, and neurological levels of functioning. Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial diagnostic interviews. Prepare clinical documentation, including progress notes for each session, treatment plans and updates, collateral contact records, and diagnostic interview and testing reports. Collaborate with other providers and community resources to develop and implement comprehensive care plans as needed. Participate in clinical supervision and staff meetings to gain further professional development and share knowledge and strategies with colleagues. Provide clinical feedback and oversight to early career therapists and students. Train and supervise early career counselors and students. Assist colleagues within the practice in meeting compliance standards and quality assurance. Provide mental health counseling with children and adults independently, without supervision and assume full responsibility for each case.

Requirements:

  1. Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a similar field, and two years of experience involving the provision of mental health counseling to children and adults.
  2. Pennsylvania Professional Counselor License.
  3. Experience in counseling and assessing young children through adults including evaluating for autism, ADHD, anxiety/depression, bipolar, PTSD, other cognitive, social, emotional levels of functioning.
