Job Title: Low Voltage Electrician (IMMEDIATE OPENINGS)
Pay: $24-$32/hr (weekly pay)
Job Description
The Security Alarm Installation Electrician installs and services CCTV, card access, fire, and burglar alarm systems under the guidance of the security installation team. This role requires working independently in the field, communicating clearly with customers, following established processes, and maintaining a positive, professional attitude. The position involves ongoing learning in a fast-evolving, cutting-edge security technology environment, with training support provided.
Responsibilities
Install CCTV, card access, fire alarm, and burglar alarm systems in accordance with the scope of work and project drawings.
Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings to plan and execute installations accurately.
Run and pull low-voltage wiring, including bending and installing conduit to required specifications.
Perform electrical wiring tasks related to security system installations, ensuring compliance with applicable codes.
Apply advanced knowledge of electrical and low-voltage codes to ensure safe and compliant installations.
Troubleshoot, service, and repair existing security and alarm systems to resolve issues efficiently.
Document all changes and updates on prints, job folders, and project documentation for accurate records.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete installation and service tasks.
Communicate professionally with customers on-site, explaining work performed and addressing questions or concerns.
Follow established processes and procedures to deliver consistent, high-quality work.
Manage multiple tasks and priorities while working under pressure and meeting project deadlines.
Work independently in the field, staying organized, detail-oriented, and accountable for assigned work.
Continuously learn new products, technologies, and solutions in the security and low-voltage industry.

Work Environment
The role follows a 10-hour shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities as needed.
Work is primarily field-based, installing and servicing security and low-voltage systems at customer locations.
The environment involves using a variety of electrical and low-voltage tools and equipment, working with wiring, conduit, and electronic security devices.
The position requires safe work practices, adherence to electrical codes, and the ability to perform tasks in a variety of commercial or facility settings while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ephrata, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
