HMR of Alabama, Inc LPN Charge Nurse in Enterprise, Alabama
Purpose: To supervise the day-to day nursing activities of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility, and as may be required by the Assistant Director and Director of Nursing to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Qualifications: Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN program * Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in this stateMust be able to read, write and speak the English languageMust possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant*Must have the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members,visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
Essential Functions: Ensure that all nursing service personnel comply with the procedures set forth in the Nursing Services Procedures Manual Cooperate with other resident services when coordinating nursing services Participate in facility surveys Periodically review the resident's written care plans and update. Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required Ensure that personnel providing direct care to residents are providing such care in accordance with the resident's care plans and wishes Monitor work areas Perform any other related assignments as required
