S&P Global Inc. Site Reliability Support Engineer in Englewood, Colorado
DESCRIPTION:
Standard & Poor's Financial Services LLC seeks a Site Reliability Support Engineer who will manage and support cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. Manage Linux and Windows environments for enterprise-grade applications. Build and manage containerized applications in production environments. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration. Develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for streamlined application delivery. Design, test, and integrate application programming interfaces (APIs) to support seamless application communication. Create and maintain automation scripts to reduce manual effort. Lead serverless migration initiatives to modernize legacy systems and optimize cloud resource usage. Implement observability and telemetry solutions for proactive monitoring and alerting. Manage and maintain PostgreSQL databases, leveraging pgAdmin for performance tuning, data integrity, and efficient workflow orchestration across environments. Deploy and manage workflows for declarative infrastructure management. Configure services to enhance application delivery, security, and edge performance. Integrate and support messaging systems for scalable event-driven architectures. Drive incident, problem, and change management processes aligned with ITIL standards to maintain operational stability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and reliability of critical systems. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement. Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to recurring production issues. Continuously enhance automation, monitoring, and deployment strategies to improve operational efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS
: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related IT field plus five (5) years of experience in software engineering, reliability engineering, or a related occupation.
Five (5) years of experience must include: Amazon Web services and Azure Cloud; Operating System (Redhat, Centos, Suse) Windows; Scripting with Python, Linux, Shell, and PowerShell; Implementing observability and telemetry at a large scale with Datadog and Splunk; Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
Two (2) years of experience must include: Helm charts, Docker, and Kubernetes; Terraform, Ansible, AzureDevops, Gitlab Pipelines; Swagger and Postman API frameworks; Serverless Migration; Cost Optimization; PostgreSQL and pgadmin; ArgoCD, Argo Workflows; Akamai; Kafka and RabbitMQ.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $164,112
to $170,400
. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses & certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
