Our client seeks a seasoned product manager to lead third‑party partner engagement and interoperability validation across advanced Wi‑Fi products. The role will define partner tiering and SLAs, drive agreement execution, and lead test planning for major releases and new device launches. The product manager will coordinate cross‑functional triage, root cause analysis, and release planning to improve connectivity, interoperability, and customer satisfaction. The position requires strong vendor management, communication, and telecommunications product expertise.

Rate: $60.00 to $70.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Identify, onboard, and manage strategic partners with defined tiering and SLAs.
Drive agreement execution with Legal and maintain partner governance.
Own interoperability test planning and execution for major releases and new product launches.
Define device cohorts and test matrices including bands, channels, backhaul, DFS, client steering, and roaming.
Coordinate lab and test house replication, capture telemetry and logs, and produce validation reports with risk assessments.
Partner with engineering, QA, and vendors to address interoperability gaps pre‑ and post‑release.
Operate a structured issue intake across production, support, employee testing, and vendor reports.
Maintain taxonomy, severity definitions, and a prioritization rubric based on customer impact.
Coordinate replication at vendor labs and internal facilities, establish reproducibility, and lead root cause analysis.
Define firmware, cloud, and configuration fix paths and mitigation playbooks, and validate fixes pre‑release.
Plan and coordinate fix releases aligned to release trains, ensuring validation, regression coverage, and monitoring.
Publish dashboards and executive readouts on interoperability trends and key remediation metrics.
Deliver validation summaries with recommendations and readiness gates for each major release or launch.
Provide insights on ecosystem trends to influence the advanced Wi‑Fi roadmap.
Propose pilots and co‑development initiatives to improve customer experience and reduce support friction.
Ensure data privacy, regulatory compliance, and responsible use of device intelligence.
Maintain partner scorecards and conduct periodic business reviews.
Experience Requirements:
7+ years of product management experience across the full product lifecycle from inception to delivery.
Proven vendor and partner management experience with external stakeholders.
Strong customer experience mindset with demonstrated impact on product quality and satisfaction.
Excellent communication skills with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Wi‑Fi or telecommunications experience with working knowledge of telecom products and services.
