ManpowerGroup R&D Food Scientist (Chinese fluency) in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey
Our client, a leading innovator in the food industry, is seeking a R&D Food Scientist to join their dynamic team. You will be part of the Research & Development department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Chinese/English and demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: R&D Food Scientist
Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ / Hybrid
Pay Range:$50 - $62 hourly
Contract: 1 Year (extension/conversion possible)
What's the Job?
Lead and coordinate R&D activities to deliver innovative brand programs.
Represent the R&D perspective in technical discussions across cross-functional teams.
Conduct technical risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Define technical project briefs and translate brand insights into superior new products.
Design and execute testing protocols for product development, including prototype and shelf-life testing.
What's Needed?
Master of Science Degree in Food Science or an equivalent field .
Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, both written and oral.
7+ years of experience in the food industry, especially in product development or project management .
Proficiency in SAP PLM/Minerva and specification creation processes helpful
Strong formulation expertise in cooking aids and related technologies.
