Job Title: Concrete Project ManagerJob Description
This role oversees the full lifecycle of residential and commercial concrete projects, including foundations, slabs, walls, structural concrete, and site concrete. You will manage planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control while coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end concrete projects, including foundations, slabs, walls, structural concrete, and site concrete for residential and commercial work.
Lead project planning activities, including defining scope, sequencing work, and developing schedules.
Oversee project scheduling to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
Manage project budgeting and cost control, tracking expenses against budget and taking corrective action when needed.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal field teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to confirm alignment with project scope and requirements.
Track and manage project documentation, including costs, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
Monitor field productivity and proactively identify and resolve constructability issues.
Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and applicable local codes and regulations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, inspectors, and design teams throughout the project.
Lead regular project meetings with internal and external stakeholders and provide timely progress updates.
Support project closeout activities, including managing punch lists and compiling final documentation.
Use project management software and tools, such as Procore, to coordinate tasks, documentation, and communication.
Essential Skills
Experience in project management within the construction industry.
At least 1.5 years of experience in residential and commercial concrete work.
Hands-on experience with concrete construction, including foundations, slabs, walls, structural concrete, and site concrete.
Strong construction management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
Proficiency in managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Experience with project coordination across multiple stakeholders, including subcontractors and inspectors.
Proficiency with Procore or similar construction project management software.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Knowledge of safety policies, quality standards, and local building codes related to concrete construction.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Background in civil engineering with an emphasis on construction or structural work.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing project documentation and records.
Effective communication skills for interacting with owners, inspectors, design teams, and internal field staff.
Ability to lead meetings and present clear progress updates to stakeholders.
Problem-solving skills to address constructability issues and field challenges.
Capability to work on multiple projects or phases simultaneously while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Work Environment
This position operates primarily in an office environment on a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role requires regular travel to job sites as needed to monitor field work, meet with subcontractors and inspectors, and resolve on-site issues. You will work closely with internal field teams and external partners and will use construction project management tools such as Procore to manage documentation, communication, and coordination between the office and job sites.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
