Insight Global Post Production Engineer in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey
Job Description
We’re hiring a Post Production Engineer to support a major media organization’s post-production infrastructure. This is a true engineering role—not creative position—focused on supporting and maintaining the technology behind high-end media production environments.
You’ll be working remotely, supporting a wide range of post-production tools and systems, with a strong emphasis on Avid and Adobe Creative Cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Provide hands-on support for Avid and Adobe Creative Cloud environments
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across post-production systems and workflows
Maintain and administer file systems, servers, and network infrastructure
Support remote desktop workflows using Leostream and Teradici PCoIP
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure system reliability and performance
Adapt to evolving production needs and schedules in a fast-paced environment

Skills and Requirements
Avid expertise: Interplay, NEXIS, Media Central Cloud UX, Media Composer
Adobe Creative Cloud: Premiere Pro, After Effects, and related tools
Experience with Blackmagic Resolve and 3rd-party plugins
Familiarity with IRIS QC, Telestream Diva, Vantage, and Stanza
Strong understanding of video signals (SD, HD, UHD, HDR, SRT) and compression formats (XDcamHD50, MPEG2/4, XAVC, DNx, ProRes)
OS proficiency: Windows 11, Windows Server, Linux, macOS
File system administration: NFS, CIFS, SMB
Network fundamentals: switches, routers, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS
Experience with Signiant file acceleration tools
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Flexible and adaptable to changing production requirements
