Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey
Description We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a team in a contract-to-permanent role. This position blends customer support, order coordination, and inventory-related tasks in a hybrid setting, with most days spent on site. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable handling administrative details while supporting daily operational needs.
Responsibilities:
• Manage customer order information by entering purchase details accurately and promptly into company records.
• Coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring orders are prepared, processed, and released on schedule.
• Receive incoming deliveries and document shipment details to maintain accurate tracking records.
• Monitor stock counts and update inventory information to help keep product availability current.
• Support customer communication through phone and email, responding to inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
• Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions to assist with order updates, service questions, and general support needs.
• Use Salesforce and related tools to maintain organized customer and order information; training will be provided.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and other administrative tasks that support day-to-day customer service operations. Requirements • Previous experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar client-facing role.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage inbound calls, outbound calls, and email correspondence with a strong focus on detail.
• Familiarity with order processing, shipment coordination, or inventory-related tasks.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work in a hybrid environment with regular on-site presence in New Jersey. TalentMatch®
