Job Description

Good Shepherd Village at Endwell is looking for 2 skilled Facility Grounds Technicians to join our Maintenance team in keeping our property beautiful.

Position Summary

The Facilities Grounds Technician is a highly skilled professional responsible for maintaining and enhancing all campus grounds to the highest standards. This position requires advanced expertise in landscaping, arboriculture, snow and ice management, and the safe operation and maintenance of a wide range of powered and hand equipment. The Grounds Technician ensures that all exterior areas—including lawns, gardens, trees, parking lots, walkways, and service roads—are safe, functional, and aesthetically maintained throughout all seasons.

Facilities Grounds Technician Schedule

Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm

On call responsibilities are weather dependent

Essential Job Requirements

Education: High School Diploma

License: Valid Driver’s License

Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age. Ability to read, write and speak the English language

Experience

3-5 years experience n skilled groundskeeping, to include experience with landscaping equipment,gardening techniques, i.e. plant care and maintenance and gardening products.
