BAE Systems is seeking a Sr Master Planner / Cost Analyst with Microsoft Project skills to join the Program Finance team. You will provide project scheduling but also financial decision support to stakeholders focused on minimizing risk and maximizing return of program profit by managing financial requirements and program execution. In this job, you will:
Develop and coordinate the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives
Monitor program schedule performance, tracks plans and schedules
Performs risk analysis using tools Barbecanna Full Monte and ForProject DCMA Schedule Analyzer
Identifies and resolves critical paths, driving paths and network logic conflicts
Utilizes Gantt, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas
Ability to train and provide guidance to engineering control account managers and new master planners
Supporting weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting requirements both internally and externally
Understanding of earned value metrics namely, cost & schedule performance and IPMR reporting
Understanding of EVMS (Earned Value Management System) and DCMA requirements
Creating and influencing program baselines with industry standard guidelines
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of work experience or equivalent experience
Proficient in Microsoft Project and all Microsoft Office
Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment
Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures
Experience communicating and presenting financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise and understandable manner
Ability to guide and train Control Account Managers
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Ability to challenge and improve knowledge of industry practices and standards as well as company policies
Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers
Understanding of Earned Value Management
Experience with Oracle a plus
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75254 - $127930
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
