Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Encino, California. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and utilizing QuickBooks for financial tasks. This role requires precision, organization, and a commitment to ensuring financial accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure proper alignment of records.
• Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and update financial data.
• Code and process invoices with attention to detail and compliance with company procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation as needed.
• Monitor account balances and flag potential issues proactively.
• Maintain organized records and documentation for auditing purposes.
• Support other accounting tasks and administrative duties as required. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with other accounting software.
• Strong understanding of bank reconciliations and financial recordkeeping.
• Ability to code and process invoices with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to deadlines and standards.
