The clinic offers conservative chiropractic treatment, physical therapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, and boasts a large network of referring providers.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Front Desk Receptionist to support our busy clinic with scheduling appointments, answering phones, and working with patients to coordinate their care. This is a non-clinical role focused on administrative tasks, patient scheduling, third party correspondence, communication, and process facilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently using electronic scheduling systems
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Send and receive fax transmissions, including medical records, referrals, and prescriptions
  • Coordinate patient care by communicating with providers, specialists, labs, pharmacies, and insurance companies
  • Verify patient insurance information and assist with pre-authorizations when needed
  • Greet patients and handle check-in/check-out procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and office files
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence
  • Assist with billing questions and basic administrative tasks
  • Ensure the office environment remains clean, organized, and welcoming
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or medical office training preferred

1--2 years of experience in a medical office, dental office, or similar healthcare setting (preferred)

Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
